My Story

Dr Sadie-Jane HUFF is the Wordsmith Extraordinaire at Superlative She.

​

Dr Huff sits on various local and global councils. She is the current Vice Chairman of the Singapore Kindness Movement Governing Council, a role she has held since 2015.

 

Dr Huff maintains her strong connections with the library world. She is the current Immediate Past President (2023 to 2025) and former President of the Library Association of Singapore (2021 to 2023). Dr Huff is a member of various library associations, both local and global. She is also the current Editor-in-Chief of the Singapore Journal of Library and Information Management (SJLIM).

 

Being an advocate for women empowerment, Dr Huff iis the Immediate Past President of the Singapore Business and Professional Women’s Association (SBPWA) EXCO as of September 2024, having been the President from September 2023. She is also a member of She Brilliance.

 

Dr Huff has been invited to speak, facilitate, moderate, and participate in numerous panels to discuss a range of topics based on her diverse portfolios.

 

Recently, Dr Huff has been invited to be a judge for writing competitions. She has also ghost-written and edited various books. Some of her favourite editorial projects include Ms Kim Underhill’s New Age Leadership and Professor James Boss’ Journey of 190 years: a history of the Eurasian Catholic Community in Singapore, 1825 – 2015.

 

In her free time, Dr Huff is a passionate advocate of reading and happily ‘hides’ books as part of her role as a Book Fairy in the global movement that was co-founded by actress Emma Watson. She cannot say no to a good book, LEGO, dungeons and dragons, or comic conventions.
